Location: Grove Hill, Alabama - Clark Place Group Home

Description: Transportation Specialist/Mental Health Worker/MAC Worker

Position Pay: $12 hr to start

Qualification: Valid Drivers License, Insurable Driving Record, High School Diploma/GED required

Preferred Experience: work with mentally ill consumers

Duties and Responsibilities: Primary job function will be to assist with transporting individuals to the surrounding psychiatric units utilizing and agency provided vehicle. When not transporting you will provide oversite to mentally ill consumers in a group home setting. Duties include meal preparation, medication monitoring, provide basic living skills trainings and monitor all consumer behavior. Cleaning duties of kitchen and main group home area as well as assisting consumers with keeping rooms clean as needed. Staff are required to successfully complete the medication assistance certification training provided on site to qualify for continued employment. Computer skills are required for making entries into the electronic health record and completion of the electronic MAR. The individual in the transport position will float onto other shifts as needed and directed by the program supervisor

Available Shifts:   Position will typically be Monday-Friday, 8am-4pm unless covering other shifts as needed.                             

Position is full time and eligible for Agency benefits.
